Tweets on Twitter are suggesting that Stoke City are keen to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window, apparently they could be putting a bid in for Zaha and Enoch Balotelli (Mario’s younger brother). We don’t know a lot about Enoch, but we have been watching Zaha closely for roughly 18 months and we are not surprised to see that top-level teams are taking notice of the tricky winger.

The last year has been massive for Zaha and Palace fans have witnessed some great displays from him, so it would be a massive loss if he left Sellhurst park, but if 2011 has taught you anything it is that almost every players has a price.

Zaha has just signed a 5 year contract with Palace, so we doubt he will move on, but stranger things have happened already this year!

How much do you think Zaha is worth? Can he cut it in the Premier League? Let us know in the comments section below!

Hargreaves, who was released by Manchester United when his contract expired last month, has attracted the attention of a number of clubs but it is West Brom who have made the first move in the hunt for his signature. Albion’s technical director Dan Ashworth told local newspaper the Birmingham Mail that he believes the West Midlands have the right ingredients in place to land the 30-year-old midfielder. Ashworth cited the clubs medical staff as a key pulling tool for Hargreaves after the club successfully handled injury prone players like Steven Reid and Giles Barnes in recent seasons.

Ashworth said: “Owen is a top top player – a fantastic player. He has had issues over the last few years but I think a fit Owen Hargreaves would be a wonderful signing for us.

“We’ve been in talks with him, he’s been based over in the States for a while and we hope to meet him over the next week or so to see if he’d consider coming to us. If he’s fit enough to play Premier League football then it’s a no-brainer.”

The rumour comes just days after it was reported that West Brom and Odemwingie are close to agreeing terms on a new contract. However in an interview with a local newspaper the striker did not close the door on a move away from the Hawthorns:

“It’s normal for players to have rumours about them, of course if I get an offer that pleases the club and myself I would take a look at it. But I’m not worried because I’m in a team where I am happy and playing well. I would think hard before leaving West Brom.”

After recently being linked with fellow wingers Stewart Downing and Charles N’Zogbia, Dalglish will now turn his attention to England international Lennon, 24. Newspaper reports today suggest that Spurs could be ready to cash in on Lennon as Harry Redknapp looks to reinvigorate his squad ahead of next season. That news will have put Liverpool on alert and the Merseysiders could now tempt Tottenham’s hand with a bid of around £15million.

It is believed that Hammers manager Sam Allardyce has convinced owners David Sullivan and David Gold to break the bank in order to tempt Cole back to Upton Park. With a fee of around £2million being touted around, the transfer is certainly affordable for the London club but Cole’s £100k a week wage demands are surely too much for the recently relegated side.

With supporter unrest rife at West Ham after their drop into the Championship the move would do a great deal to improve the mood at the club and send a message to the Hammers’ opposition. It remains to be seen however, even if a fee is agreed, if Cole would be prepared to drop out of the Premiership; even for his boyhood club.
